Scott is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Emerald Asset Management PA, LLC, parent company to Emerald’s four subsidiary investment advisory firms. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of subsidiary Emerald Advisers, LLC. Scott co-founded Emerald Advisers in 1991 and served as its Senior Vice President and Treasurer until 2002. He also co-founded and served as President and Trustee of the Emerald Mutual Funds from 1992 – 2002. He returned to Emerald in 2012 to help manage its continuing growth after serving as executive director of the non-profit Connections Work from 2002 – 2012. Scott is a member of the board of directors and chairs the investment committee of the Wyomissing Foundation and is a member of the board of trustees of Albright College and the board of directors of Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries. He has served as chair of several local community-based organizations, including as the immediate past chair of the board of directors of the United Way of Berks County and its Community Impact Cabinet.
