Good morning.

Home prices going thru the roof?   Well, I think the only thing we can be sure of (and that is just an opinion) is that this probably won’t continue at the same rate indefinitely.  In fact, per the first note below, some are questioning its strength.

However, who know?  According to the Conference Board, Consumer Confidence is once again, on the rise … and confident consumers could be a powerful force in whatever they decide to purchase en masse.

The major indexes (S&P and Dow) are up at the moment, although some tech stocks are not joining the party.  I am guessing that yesterday’s sharp drop and rebound could have quite a few investors taking stock of their portfolio (no pun intended) and moving things around.

I’m in a pretty good mood this morning as I finally got a vaccine shot lined up … after weeks of futile attempts.  It will be good to get out in the world again … just in time for opening day baseball and golf season.  It is also giving me incentive to stick to my diet … as I never realized that when they named the virus Covid-19 … they might have been referring to pounds.

There is one interesting note I read this morning related to our year-long hibernation … as Stanford University is reporting that more couples met online in the past year than any other way … and, according to Daily Shot, the numbers weren’t even close.

From connecting with people to food ordering to learning to dodge Amazon Prime delivery trucks the last year sure provided a new outlook on things … though there are some scams out there and some other tempting offerings for which … well … I’m not so sure.

I actually saw a company this morning offering a thought-controlled air freshener.

It sounds crazy, but when you think about it … it really makes scents.

Have a great day,
