With no major economic news this morning … and markets relatively flat (except for my cannabis stocks … which continue to get crushed … causing me to wonder if I was high when I bought them) … I’ll focus on one very important thing today.
And that is thanks.
It is rare that I reflect on things … for who has the time? … but I thought quite a bit this morning about how many wonderful people I’ve “accumulated” over the years … wonderful friendships … where every encounter I look forward to and thoroughly enjoy.
I will admit that it was a very tough year at times … as … a few friends passed away … including one that was as close to me as close can be … and the loss was crippling. Heck, I’m crying now just writing this … but it makes me treasure all the more the moments that we had together … and also helps me more appreciate and look forward to the upcoming times I will spend with the many people I hold dear.
Sometimes we take things for granted. Just last night a reader wrote that they wanted to send a note (many times) but didn’t … as they figured I was busy and “didn’t need a comment.” Little does she know how much I cherish such communication … even if it is only a critique of one of my over-the-top opinions.
Sorry to go on such a rant this morning.
The intent was just to wish everyone a very wonderful and happy Thanksgiving and to let you know that each and every one of you is included as something I am most grateful for.
Have a great holiday,
